WHO WE ARE

Melissa Vouros founded MVTP in 2006.    

Melissa has over eleven years experience in the field of planning and development. Prior to establishing MVTP, Melissa worked in Local Government in Queensland (Pine Rivers and Redcliffe) and in private practice (both in Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast). 

Melissa has a detailed understanding of the operations of Local Government  and the legislative process involved in achieving approvals.

Melissa has coordinated large project teams in both the private and public sectors across a variety of disciplines for smalll to large corporations.

Melissa brings a frank and proactive approach to the planning process and adds value by finding solutions to complex problems. 

Melissa consistently coordinates large projects from the site acquisition and due diligence phases, through to the preparation of feasibilities and the making of development applications. Melissa has facilitated a wide variety of complex development applications and approvals for a range of projects including residential, commercial, industrial, educational, infrastrucure and tourist developments.

OUR EXPERIENCE

Darren Brewer is a Senior Town Planner at MVTP.   

Darren has over fifteen years experience in the development industry. For thirteen of those years he has worked as a town planner in both local government and the private sector. During this time, he has occupied senior roles overseeing planning teams and a number of large projects.

His experience in the planning arena has been State wide and varied, ranging from due diligence to the design of large residential subdivisions through to facilitating development approvals for medium rise development, resort development, industrial, commercial, retail (convenience and large shopping centres) and Liquor Licensing and gaming, through to appearances as an Expert Witness in the Planning and Environment Court.
